To coincide with Megan Palaima's UK visit, hancock
& kelly live will premier the fourth in it's series of
solo performances, Traci Kelly's The Mirror Pool. Since
2005, Hancock and Kelly have been engaged in a game of 'performance
chess'; a series of solo performances, each made in response to the
previous piece, alternately by Hancock and Kelly.
The Mirror Pool is an intimate transference rippling in the
hands of the audience. As polished surfaces seep and reflect
and the grotto overspills, the act of exchange becomes an unstable
structure. This durational performance will be followed by a
sharing of work by Megan Palaima.
